about

Red Wolf Glass is a formidable and impressive debut - Popmatters

When you're looking for epic rock that makes you grit your teeth, clench your fists, squint your eyes and say, 'Yeeessss!" you want something with that built in angst but with some soul-padding too- something with give to it that ultimately stirs up all those things you're dissatisfied about. "Red Wolf Glass" is the perfect choice. Mixing the atmosphere and swirl of Brit Pop with the driving guitars and rhythms of brooding modern rock, one might be able to pick out bits of Swervedriver and Radiohead, but will, overall, be floored by that distinctive mix that just can't be pinned down except for with one word. Projektor - CD Baby

This CD shows that yes, Canadians can also gaze at their shoes, and they can do it well. Dark, intense, dynamic, and driving soundscapes that push heavy like dynamic molasses through the atmosphere. There are a few hints of that post-hardcore edge and angst in the vocals, reminiscent of other Canadian band, By A Thread, but the smoothness of the music and the thickness of the almost orchestral guitars makes my ears head more towards bands like Swervedriver. Sometimes the fullness spreads out until all you are left with is a subtle bass line and soaring britpop vocals that would fit in alongside bands like The Doves and Coldplay, and then it builds back up into epic life. The lyrics touch upon a gothic poeticness, but the music lifts you out of the shadows... - The Big Takeover
